OUR IN-HOUSE DEVELOPMENTS AT A GLANCE
PIPING SYSTEMS
BEWO piping components are an in-house development which is distinguished by low wear and tear, high plant reliability and low investment costs.
AIR CONVEYOR PIPES AND TROUGHS
APPLICATION POSSIBILITIES
The air conveyor pipes developed in-house are easy to operate and perfectly suited as a conveying element for powder materials. The fluidised bed guarantees a low-wear, and dust and maintenance-free transport. Rotating parts (e.g. screws) are not needed for this. Simple control of the conveying is possible at any time through hand openings. The pipe can be easily cleaned without time-consuming dismantling. Any number of connections can be installed. This component can thus be used flexibly and, at the same time, minimises energy consumption.
INSTALLATION OPTIONS
As long as there is adequate height for the pipes to be laid, the length of the pipes or the distance is virtually irrelevant.
DESIGN
The air conveyor pipe is available in two versions:
- DIN pipe
- Flange pipe
The use of the correct pipes makes simple connection to the upstream and downstream plant parts possible. No adapter parts are required. The fluidised air is supplied using one or two “Hermanns System” aeration hoses. For this, compressed air at an operating pressure of 0.5 to 0.7 bar g must be available. The air volume is dependent on the conveying output and the type of product.

INFLOW IMPACT HEAD
APPLICATION POSSIBILITIES
The inflow impact head is used as a silo and tank inflow at the end of a pneumatic conveying pipe and is a flow diverter for the entry of pneumatic conveying piping into a tank or silo. The conveying piping is expanded to a diameter of DN 250 and at the same time diverted by 90°.
The expansion causes a reduction in the flow rate in the impact head. The impact head is distinguished by a very low pressure loss. The use of special materials ensures a high wear resistance even when conveying abrasive materials.
The connector flanges are designed as per DIN EN 1092-1 (DIN2576). Simple retrofitting is possible at any time.
For special application areas, an impact head with an exchangeable cover is available. The efficiency of impact heads with PU lining for the pneumatic conveyance of quartz powder is currently being tested.

INFLOW IMPACT DOME
APPLICATION POSSIBILITIES
Our inflow impact dome has been successfully used for many years in the pneumatic transport of glass shards. The operating principle of the impact dome is that directly behind the inlet nozzle, an expansion reduces the speed of the conveying flow.
The inflow impact dome is lined with cast basalt or Kalcor. Part of the conveyed material falls directly into a tank. Another part is hurled against a rubberised impact plate. Some of the bulk material adheres to the impact plate and thus serves as protection against wear. The impact plate is easy to replace.
The so-called dual impact dome is a special variation. “Dual” because it has two inlets, allowing glass batches as well as glass shards to be conveyed simultaneously to a preliminary bunker.
This permits the optimal mixing of both products without first having to feed the glass shards into the batch mixer.
DOSING SLIDE
APPLICATION POSSIBILITIES
For dosage of free-flowing bulk materials from silos or tanks at capacities of 100kg/h to approx. 300 t/h.
